A very big two days to finish off the 2016 Australian Age Championships. Congratulations to Tanya Stovgaard with silver in the 16yo 200m Backstroke and bronze in the 16yo 100m Butterfly. What got you started

I started to notice lots of my friends doing swimming so I gave it a go and over some time I got good at it.

How do you set your goals?

By training hard.

Do you have a word, mantra or motto that you live your life by?

Love it, live it, do it.

What is your biggest source of motivation?

My coaches because they give me hard training but that's what I need to become a strong swimmer.

Port Macquarie Town Pool

When we do snap turns

We we do 60 laps

What exercise do you absolutely dislike but do anyways because you know it works?

Climb outs because you have to swim to the end then get out and jump back in

What do you do to mentally train yourself?

Do laps non stop

What weaknesses have you overcome and how?

To do butterfly with lots of training

What's your best advice for dealing with mental negativity? How do you get out of your own head?

I calm myself whil listening to music

Just go out there and give it all you've got

When are you the most nervous while you are competing?

On the blocks

Get out there and give 110 percent

Get out there and get us some PB's

Try and get to the Paralympics
